An excellent way to search for information on an animal (or any subject, really) is with our Destiny Quest database. This will direct you to any books on your topic, as well as websites that are at an elementary reading level.  Click on the DESTINY QUEST button to go to our catalog and database.



Many excellent resources are available for free through the KING COUNTY LIBRARY.  You will need a Library Card (or you can use your parent's card) to access the PREMIUM BIOGRAPHY DATABASES with detailed information about animals.  Click on the BUTTON above to access these resources!




Grades 3-5 communicate using a wiki format to give us experience typing in context. Our wiki is completely private and only members can find the wiki or edit content.

Typing Agent is a typing tutorial for grades 2-5 (all students k-8 may access this from home). To log in, students use their student login (which most student should know, but if you email me with the tab on left I will send to you) and password. Step-by-step log in directions are available under the "DOCUMENTS" tab.



 Marcelino's letters is a good way for our beginning readers to become familiar with the letter placement on the keyboard.



Raz-Kids is a program an online reading program where students can read stories at their instructional level.




Starfall is a primary reading program that teaches phonic awareness through games and stories.




ABCYA contains many reading and math games, sorted by grade level, for grades K-5.


Math Playground- practice your math skills! (grades 1-6)




 Sesame Street has many learning games and coloring pages (printable and online) geared towards Kindergarten and 1st grade.




Arthur's Comic Creator allows students to create orginal comics.
