This Month's Update

Hi Parents. The end of elementary school is coming fast. Here are a few details to help you stay informed.  Please remember to pay those lunch money bills and return/pay for missing library books.  Student records and yearbooks are kept until this happens.  Check lost and found for any items that have not come home.  They are turned over to the clothing bank at the end of the year. Events are listed on a separate page to help you plan ahead. Parents are encouraged to participate in any of the activities listed.  We enjoy having you be a part of our celebrations.

We're just few days from leaving Kibler behind either for the summer or forever.  As the school year comes to an end many students begin to struggle with "friend" conflicts.  Please take a moment with your child and talk about attitudes and emotions, as this can be a very stressful time.  Make sure some ground rules are well established.  Feelings are very tender at this age.

We have been working on our Washington History projects. Students are nearly finished with the model of their villages. Some supplies may be needed. We'll be sharing those with other classes next week. Since I have been asked to continue with the 4th/5th grade classroom fourth graders have been looped up to stay in this room next year. We will add approximately 3 incoming fifth graders and ten incoming fourth graders to our class. We will miss the fifth graders as they move on to middle school, but are looking forward to the new class members joining us in Room 35.

Please check your child's folder for informational fliers and returned work.
